Anonymous Call Block
To Activate:
- Pick up the phone and
listen for dial tone.
- Press *77.
- Listen for a recording or
tone to confirm your Anonymous Call Block is ON.
To Deactivate:
- Pick up the phone and
listen for dial tone.
- Press *87.
- Listen for a recording or
tone to confirm your Anonymous Call Block is OFF.

When you
miss a call:
- Pick up the phone and
listen for dial tone.
- Press *69.
To Cancel:
- Pick up the phone and
listen for dial tone.

Call
Forwarding
- Pick up phone and listen
for dial tone. Press *72.
- At the tone, enter the
number calls are to be forwarded to. When the call
is answered, the feature has been activated.
- If the call is not
answered, hang up and repeat the above steps
within two minutes. When the number you are
forwarding to rings, you can hang up, and the
feature is activated.
- To turn the Call Forwarding
off: Press *73.
Two short tones indicate that you
have turned Call Forwarding off.
- About Call Forwarding:
If you forward calls to a long distance number,
you will be charged long distance rates for each
call forwarded.
- In most areas, a brief
tone, followed by a dial tone, indicates Call
Forwarding is activated. You will hear this tone
until you turn the service off.
- To confirm Call Forwarding
is on, press *72.
If activated, you hear a fast busy
tone.
If deactivated, you hear a normal
dial tone.
- You cannot answer calls
when Call Forwarding is activated. You will hear
one short ring each time a call forwards. This is
to remind you the service is on. You can, however,
make calls normally when Call Forwarding is on.

Caller ID
Once you have purchased Caller ID for you
phone line, Winn Telecom will activate it for you.
A Caller ID display device is required for
this service. More information is available about this device
at your local retail store.

Speed Dial 8
- Speed Dial 8 lets you create a list
of 8 number that can be called using a one-digit code.
To call a number on your Speed Dialing list, press the
one-digit code you assigned and #.
To Create Your Speed Dialing List:
- Pick a one-digit code from 2
through 9 to each number.
- Pick up phone and listen for dial
tone.
- Press *74.
- Wait for a second dial tone. Enter
the one-digit code (2 through 9) you want to assign and the
complete telephone number you want the code to represent.
Example:
- Code 2 telephone number =
555-1234 or
- Code 2 long distance number =
1-123-555-1234
- Listen for 2 brief tones to confirm
that number has been accepted. Hang up or wait for dial
tone.
- Repeat steps to add each number to
your Speed Dialing list, or to change an existing number.
To Call a Number on Your Speed Dialing
List:
- Dial the assigned code (2 through
9) for the person or business you want to call. Press
#. The number will be dialed after a short pause.
Notes about Speed Dial 8
- When saving a long-distance number,
enter 1, the area code and the telephone number.
- The maximum number of digits that
can be programmed per phone number is 28 (to include access
code, area code and phone number).

Speed Dial
30
- Speed Dial 30 lets you create a
list of 30 number that can be called using a two-digit
code. To call a number on your Speed Dialing list, press
the two-digit code you assigned and #.
To Create Your Speed Dialing List:
- Pick a two-digit code from 20
through 49 for each number.
- Pick up the phone and listen for
dial tone.
- Press *75#.
- Wait for a second dial tone. Enter
the two-digit code (20 through 49) you want to assign and
the complete telephone number you want the code to
represent.
Example:
- Code 20 telephone number =
555-1234 or
- Code 20 long distance number =
1-123-555-1234
- Listen for 2 brief tones to confirm
that number has been accepted. Hang up or wait for dial
tone.
- Repeat steps to add each number to
your Speed Dialing list, or to change an existing number.

Call Waiting
To Use:
- Tell your first caller you have
another call.
- Press and release the
flash/hold key
once to put the first caller on hold and answer the second
call.
- Again press and release the
flash/hold key once to put the second caller on hold and return
to the first caller.
Notes About Call Waiting:
- If you complete your first call and
hang up, your phone will ring with the second call.
- If the first caller hangs up, you
will automatically be connected to the second caller in 2
seconds.

Cancel Call
Waiting
To Cancel Call Waiting Before Placing a
Call:
- Pick up the phone and listen for
dial tone.
- Press *70.
- Listen for 3 short tones, followed
by a regular dial tone.
- Dial the telephone number.
To Cancel Call Waiting During a Call:
- Press and release the
flash/hold key.
- Press *70.
- You will automatically reconnect to
your call.
Notes:
- Cancel Call Waiting works for the
length of one call only. Call Waiting will return once you
hang up.

3-Way
Calling
To Add a Third Person to Your Call:
- Press and release the
flash/hold key to
put the first person on hold.
- Listen for 3 tones and then regular
dial tone.
- Dial the number of the third
person. When he/she answers, only the two of you are
connected and you may talk privately. If you receive no
answer or a busy signal, press and release the flash/hold
key
twice to return to your first person.
- To bring the first person into the
conversation, press the flash/hold key for one second, and all
three will be connected.
- To disconnect, have either person
hang up and continue your two-way call.

Ring
Once you have purchase Distinctive Ring for
your phone line, Winn Telecom will activate it for you.

Call Trace
Service
Call Trace can be added to your
line by proper legal authorities. If you are receiving harassing
phone calls, please contact your local police department to file
a complaint. At that time, Winn Telecom will be happy to
activate the service to your account for a monthly fee.

Call Block
To Access Your Call Block Service:
- Pick up the phone and listen for
dial tone.
- Press *60.
- Listen to the recorded instructions
for options. The phone numbers you enter on your Call Block
list will be repeated to you.
- The number of the last person who
called you may be added t your list by following the
recorded instructions.
